Imagery

No photos. Every picture is drawn in the same hand:

• Pen hatching at −32° fills each shape, with cut lines in strokes, a slight wobble and paper grain.
• Colors are gold plus the four inks: teal, brick, violet and amber.
• Subjects are simple objects that carry the idea: people, doors, ledgers, folders, stepping stones, a block on a waterline.
• No text inside a drawing. The caption or title carries the words.
• Sizes:
  • essay header art (wide);
  • section drawings (320×180, right of the text on wide screens);
  • card drawings (84px wide, top-left of a card);
  • band drawings (72px, beside each point).

Charts

Essay charts are drawn: hatched bars and pen lines in the drawing inks, every number labeled directly, a source line, and the Signature at the bottom right. In a carousel or card, use the essay's own chart with the same numbers.
